Why Spartanburg
Spartanburg is the second city of the Upstate and the one with the most momentum right now. Downtown has rebuilt around Morgan Square with new housing, restaurants, Fifth Third Park for the minor league Spartanburgers, and the Chapman Cultural Center. Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is the largest employer, followed by BMW and its suppliers, Michelin, Denny’s, Wofford College, Converse University and the Spartanburg Community College campuses. I-26 and I-85 meet on the west side, and US-29 and SC-9 run through town. Spartanburg District 7 covers the city; the neighborhoods just outside fall into Districts 2, 3 and 6. Our Spartanburg homes are on the edges where lots are larger and cheaper: the west side toward Fairforest and Roebuck, the north side toward Boiling Springs, and the east side off SC-9. Downtown is 10 to 15 minutes from most of them and the BMW plant is 20 minutes.
Every home we sell in Spartanburg is a new Cavco manufactured home set on a permanent foundation, finished on site and titled with the land as real property. The price you see on a listing is the full price with the lot, foundation, utilities and yard. See how financing works or browse every home we have for sale.
