Why Anderson
Anderson is the county seat and the largest city between Greenville and Lake Hartwell. Downtown Main Street has filled back in with restaurants and shops, the Anderson Civic Center hosts most of the county’s events, and the city has its own water and electric utility. AnMed Health is the largest employer, with Anderson University, First Quality, Bosch and the plants along US-76 and I-85 behind it. Clemson University is 20 minutes away. Anderson School District 5 covers the city, with T.L. Hanna and Westside high schools. Lake Hartwell is 10 to 15 minutes west on SC-24 or SC-187, with public ramps at Green Pond, Singing Pines and Portman Marina. Our Anderson homes are on the edges of town along SC-24, SC-28 Bypass, US-29 and Liberty Highway, where lots run a half acre to over an acre. I-85 exits 19 and 21 put downtown Greenville 35 minutes away and Atlanta two hours.
Every home we sell in Anderson is a new Cavco manufactured home set on a permanent foundation, finished on site and titled with the land as real property.
